MISSION GRAMODAYA
Government of West Bengal has identified 79 most backward villages on backward indicators in Jalpaiguri District. Mission Gramodaya is a multi-sector development programme for 79 identified most backward villages executing by Jalpaiguri Zilla Parishad with the help of Panchayats and various line departments. The aim is to bring the 79 most backward villages at the level of other villages with minimal level of infrastructure and livelihood support.
