RURAL INFRASTRUCTURE SCHEMES

The choice of this sector has been direct out come of the convergent community action (CCA) and village planning by villagers-an exercise that has extended to 134 of the 146 GPs of the district. In order to meet the requirement in remote areas the schemes under Rural Infrastructure has been chosen to augment Rural Connectivity enhance the rural market and facilitate supply of drinking waters in areas which have rocky soil. With the realizations of the scheme there is likelihood of betterment in the over all rural infrastructure it is expected that more than 5000 beneficiaries will be directly or indirectly benefited on these schemes in each of the Blocks where such schemes will be implemented.
